Bhad Bhabie posts video about abuse at center for troubled teens

Bhad Bhabie spoke in depth about his abusive experience at Turn-About Ranch, the center for adolescents in difficulty to which she was sent by Dr Phil after appearing on his talk show in 2016.

In a video shared on the manager of Bhad Bhabie Youtube this afternoon (March 19), the rapper shared details about her time at the Utah-based center, revealing that she had endured forced labor, been physically and emotionally abused, that she had felt like she had been kidnapped, that she had not been allowed to sleep on a bed at certain points, suffered from malnutrition and much more. She also doubled down on her defense of a young woman named Hannah, who said she was sexually assaulted at the ranch and was punished for speaking out. The rhyme “Do It Like Me” gave Dr Phil an ultimatum, in which he must apologize to Bhad Bhabie, Hannah and any other child sent to Turn-About – or a similar program – otherwise she “s’ will take care of things “his way.

Bhad Bhabie said that after appearing on Dr Phil’s show, her mother and grandmother knew she was sent to the program, but Bhad Bhabie did not.

The rapper said the teens were given carriers – or a man and a woman – who would wake them up in the middle of the night, fail to inform the teens where they were going, handcuff the teens and bring them to a cabin , this is where the program takes place.

“So for the first three days that you are there, there is no shower,” Bhad Bhabie says in the eight-minute video. “It got you in a circle, which is a tipi. It’s a little tipi, but it’s open. And you have to sit there for three days.”

With regard to the responsibilities and tasks entrusted to adolescents, Bhad Bhabie says they are the same everyday, like chopping wood and looking after animals. She adds that while the telephone and television are privileges of which you are stripped, the privileges of necessity are also removed.

“Take-out necessities like sleeping on a bed, eating good food, not being cold,” she says.

Bhad Bhabie also said she was reprimanded for witnessing incidents although she may not have informed any staff. She went on to say that while there were rules in the program, it could have changed at any time depending on how a staff member was feeling that day or if the employee felt like one of the teenagers had done something he was not supposed to do. to do.

The rhymer also described two types of disciplines on the program: a “check” and a “reflection”. She explained a reflection as a “punishment when you do something so bad or do something that ticks them off.” [the staff] off, you have to go into thinking. You walk around the arena for hours. You sit outside in the cold on the floor. You have to pick up piles in a wheelbarrow of horse poop. And they [the staff] want big piles. So if you have to do 25 stacks, you really do like 50 wheelbarrows. “

Bhad Bhabie said in the video that she saw a child being detained at the program, which is illegal because staff members are not supposed to get hold of the children. She added that these are the words of the teens against the staff because there are no witnesses, cameras or phones which is why the rapper was afraid to speak out for fear that no one would believe her .

The artist said that at one point she begged her mother to let her leave the program and offered to take her to daily therapy or an outpatient program. She also revealed that one of the staff was killed at the ranch by a teenager who attempted to steal a car, presumably located on the property. A female staff member who was injured in the incident also later died. In addition, the mother of the teenager who killed the staff member was married to the brother of the program president, who Bhad Bhabie believes it is a conflict of interest.

She continued, “What parents need to understand is that if your child is acting because of trauma such as sexual abuse, or maybe the parents of the children are divorced or just something like that. , you don’t send your child to a program like You have to send your child to a program where he is not punished and where it is not all down to: “You are in trouble, you are in trouble.” And c It’s really fucked up. You use kids to run your ranch and you don’t even feed them or let them sleep in decent conditions. “

Bhad Bhabie added: “Just doing things that no one would ever want to do to their child. And do it to children who are so helpless when you know you are looking at their letters, you know they have no contact with their parents. So I don’t really know why Dr Phil is still sending kids here because it really doesn’t make sense. Are you trying to help them or are you trying to hurt them even more? Because we know all he’s such a bogus as it is, but don’t send the kids somewhere just to make it look like you’re trying to do something.

The 15 The mixtape artist also claimed that Turn-About Ranch has faced legal action since around 2012 and has been around since the 1990s.

XXL has contacted a representative of Dr. Phil and the Turn-About Ranch for comment.
