Bhad Bhabie denounces the alleged abuses she suffered at Ranch on a U-turn, a treatment center for troubled teens in Utah, after another teenage girl sued the ranch for claiming she was sexually assaulted there.
Sunday (February 28), Bhab Bhabie detailed his allegations of abuse, including being “malnourished, mistreated and having to do forced labor and being there while someone was murdered,” which continued during his stay at the treatment center in a Instagram message. The 17-year-old rapper shared a 19-year-old video Hannah Archuleta, who discussed the alleged sexual assault she suffered from a male staff member at Turn-About Ranch in 2019. Archuleta says she was taken against her will to the Turn-About Ranch after her appearance on the Dr Phil broadcast on October 22, 2019, when she was 17.
“The ranch treatment center punished this young woman Hannah for reporting that a member of their staff assaulted her,” Bhad Bhabie wrote in the video caption for his Instagram post. “Keep in mind that when you participate in this program you CANNOT have contact with your parents or use a phone, this girl wouldn’t even be able to call the police if she tried. There has been a murder in this facility, reports of torture and now a report of sexual abuse and Dr Phil continues to send troubled children here even after learning that stuff like this has happened in this facility. establishment. It makes my blood boil. I suffered from malnutrition, abuse and forced labor. to be there while someone was murdered. I came back with more trauma than I went there. “
Rapper “Gucci Flip Flops” urged the immediate shutdown of Turn-About Ranch, which said on its website that the center “is featured frequently on Dr. Phil’s TV show.”
“I was sent to this place for help. Hannah went to this place for help, what she got was just the opposite. @Turnabout_ranch must be STOPPED IMMEDIATELY and staff should suffer the consequences for the way they treat helpless children. ” Bhad Bhabie continued. “THESE KIDS ARE HELPING THEY CAN’T CONTACT THEIR PARENTS. They can’t tell them what’s going on at the ranch is benefiting. If the kids don’t listen to them, they won’t even let them use a proper break room or eat. really. food, they separate them from other kids, force them to sit on a desk facing a wall, force them to do hard work, use a pot porta, eat peanut butter sandwiches and cold ramen, put them in subzero temperatures, pick weeds and put them together over 20 piles of horse manure with a wheelbarrow. How is punishing kids supposed to help them get better !! ?? “
Archuleta said that during his first two weeks at the center, “a male staff member came up behind me and suddenly grabbed my butt.” She also claims that she didn’t tell another Turn-About staff member for fear of punishment. Archuleta maintains that there was a second incident with the same male staff member, who again touched her behind and her vaginal area as she searched for a closet. After confiding in women on staff about the alleged assault, Archuleta claims she suffered retaliation.
According to New York Daily News, Archuleta, who is being replaced by attorney Gloria Allred, has filed a lawsuit against Turn-About Ranch in Utah’s 6th Court of Justice. She seeks compensatory and punitive damages for assault, bodily harm, emotional distress and other related charges.
“We believe it is high time that Turn-About Ranch was held accountable for what happened to Hannah while she was there,” said Allred.
XXL contacted Turn-About Ranch and Dr. Phil’s representatives for comment.
