Boosie BadAzz paid a man over $ 500 to take a brutal slap in the face for a music video.
The Louisiana rapper became a hot topic on March 27 after an Instagram video appeared of him slapping the taste out of a man’s mouth in what appears to be a convenience store. Turns out the big bang was part of a music video for a song Boosie a with DaBaby titled “Period”.
In the behind-the-scenes clip of the visual, Boosie and DaBaby approach the counter, where a man begins berating Boosie. After a short exchange of words, Boosie walks away and slaps the man viciously. It was all planned out in advance, with Boosie explaining the scene to the man before slapping it down. After the difficult scene, Boosie collects the man. With a tip provided by DaBaby, the man reportedly collected $ 554 for taking the slap in front of the camera.
The stunt may have cost the rapper. Shortly after posting the clip to her Instagram page, her page was deleted again. Boosie had problems with Instagram in 2020, when his Instagram page was taken down for violating the app’s policies. Boosie claimed that IG was discriminatory against him and said he would continue with the enforcement.
“I started a new IG @boosienewig n they stopped my live as soon as shaderoom posted it ♂️ I PUBLISHED NOTHING IS LIVE it’s discrimination / racial etc.
It is not known whether he actually followed through on his threats.
These dull and dull hip-hop moments prove rappers can be hit by serious backlash
