According to Cardi, “there is no better place to look like a business than at home, than New York.” She chose the location after being inspired by Jennifer Lopez and Maluma’s 2020 ‘Pa’ Ti + Lonely ‘video, which also showcases the impressive building and the views.
With the success of the Bronx rapper’s five-time platinum song in 2020 “WAP” starring Megan Thee Stallion, and the recently released “Up,” who both won first place on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, Cardi kicks off her second album with perfect momentum. In addition, she continues to break records, become the first solo rapper in history to have a diamond certified song with “Bodak Yellow”, earn the honor in March of this year.
