Cardi B refutes a rumor that Eminem refused to jump on a track on her next album.

Wednesday (March 24), Twitter User @plutovenom posted an “internal report” claiming that Shady recently turned down a feature request from the Bronx rapper. The tweet cited the reason the Detroit rap veteran didn’t want to be on the song as follows: “[Cardi] does not care about the culture or his profession. The next day, Bardi set the record straight.

“BIG LIES,” she replied to the message. “I’m off the internet and you’re doing shit. I haven’t sent any songs to any artist yet. I love their work and a lot of respect. It doesn’t even make sense.” She added, “Since they love to make up LIES about me because they are so obsessed, know this … you all are laughing about this false rumor, but wait until you see these next collaborations.”

She then reposted a fan’s tweet urging people not to put an unsuspecting Em into lies on the internet. “Whatever type of ‘loathing’ you have for Cardi, leave Eminem out! This man is minding his damn business,” the tweet read.

Cardi’s new LP is one of most anticipated albums of 2021. His second album was led by the hit singles “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion and “Up,” which both reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Cardi recently became the first female rap artist to have a diamond single after his song, “Bodak Yellow,” topped 10 million units earlier this month.
