Since music has moved from physical copies to digital downloads, Duck topped the charts as one of the most watched artists of the past decade. But now it turns out a new sheriff is in town, and his name is DaBaby.

As of Thursday, May 20, DaBaby officially became the rapper with the most monthly streams on Spotify, surpassing Duck. According to monthly listeners reported by the streaming service, DaBaby accumulates 54,935,540 listeners per month, while Drake records 52,591,008 streams per month. This means that baby collects 2,344,532 more streams than the 6 Gods.

The new party makes the 29-year-old rapper the sixth most listened to artist on Spotify, behind musical actors like Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande and Bruno Mars. Drake is the ninth most listened to person on the platform and the second rapper with the most fans. Other rappers who make the top 20 monthly streams on Spotify include Travis Scott, Post Malone, and Lil Nas X, who are in the bottom half of the list.

Five months in 2021, Drake released three singles as part of his Scary Hours 2 fall: “And after,” “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” with Rick Ross and “Wants and Needs” with Lil Baby. DaBaby, for its part, has launched its 2020 projects Blame it on baby and My brother’s keeper (Vive G). His most recent single, “Masterpiece”, and his feature film on A-list pop star Dua Lipa’s track “Levitating” are also big releases pushing the rhymer to sixth place on the list. Camila Cabello’s single “My Oh My” with the 2019 XXL First-year student may be released in 2019, but its 450 million+ streams will most likely add to DaBaby’s high volume of monthly listeners.

Congratulations, DaBaby.
