Every song on Lil Uzi Vert’s Eternal Atake album is ranked

One year ago, Lil uzi vert finally passed. After teasing the project for over two years, on March 6, 2020, the Philadelphia rapper unloaded his Eternal Atake album, a metallic and techno-colored collection of tight rap and inventive hooks that marked her second major album for the label.

While Uzi was previously known to inject most of his songs with melody, Uzi vocals are largely absent on this one; he masters his talents as a rapper and does it very well. Sure “You better move” he scrapes measures that can be quoted while transforming a rhyme into an instructive quasi-dance song.

“I’m like Mother Goose, if I say shoot they’ll shoot / No I’m not sweet, I just have flavor / I don’t need water to mix this juice / They say ‘Why Does your chain look like a choker? ‘/ It’s for the slaves who had to wear the noose,’ he rapped on the track.

For “Baby Pluto”, Lil uzi vert unleashes bursts of flexes and punchlines on bouncing bells for a song that sounds like a spaceship that has just entered Earth’s atmosphere. For good measure, he also has pieces like “P2” – a sequel to “XO Tour Llif3”—And “Urgence” for those who miss the most melodic of Uzi.

Choosing the best song on the album is difficult, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible, so why not give it a try? Today, to celebrate the birthday of Eternal Atake, XXL categorizes all songs on the album. Take a look at the list below.
