Famous Dex has been hit with numerous charges.
The Chicago rapper now faces 19 counts, including possession of firearms and domestic violence resulting from three incidents in 2020, according to a TMZ report published on Sunday (March 28).
As previously stated, last November, Dex was the suspect in a domestic violence case where the SWAT team were called to his home after receiving a notice that the rapper was armed and was injuring his then-girlfriend. Dex’s ex-girlfriend reportedly suffered cuts to her body when police arrived at the scene. However, the rapper was gone before they arrived. Police reportedly charged the rapper with domestic violence, possession of weapons, deterring a victim from reporting a crime and damage to property in the incident.
Dex reportedly faced additional charges in a previous domestic incident with the same women that allegedly took place in October 2020. In that case, he was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, showing a firearm, inflicting bodily harm, deterring a victim from reporting a crime, personal injury domestic violence, threat to a domestic partner and tampering with property.
Earlier this month, Dex was arrested for possession of firearms. In this case, he was charged with possession of a firearm without a serial number and possession of a firearm despite a restraining order against him.

The past few years have been tumultuous for Dex, who has struggled with addiction. After fans expressed concern for the rapper last December when he posted disturbing videos online, he reportedly entered a drug rehab center earlier this year. He released his most recent solo project, Diane, last October.
