J. Cole’s The Off-Season album debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200


J. Cole is back at the top of the album charts.

Sunday May 23, the top 10 BillboardThe Billboard 200 chart has been unveiled, revealing J. Colethe new album of Low season, unsurprisingly made his debut at No. 1. Cole ended the week with an impressive 282,000 album equivalents with 2,000 traditional albums.

It’s by far the biggest rap album of the year. New version of Cole more than doubled in Rod Wave’s first week SoulFly album, the previous best with 130,000 UAE in its first week. Even more impressive, it also marks the sixth consecutive No.1 album for Cole.

Cole’s new album features 12 songs. Unlike his previous projects, the North Carolina rapper chose to collaborate on this release, using uncredited guest voices from 21 Savage, Morray, Lil Baby, Camr’ron, Diddy, 6lack and others. For production, Cole uses Timbaland, Boi-1da, DJ Dahi, Jake One and more. Cole, who is currently in Rwanda playing professional basketball, celebrated her last number 1 on social media on May 22.

“Sending a thank you from Rwanda! Album # 1, I appreciate the love, I heard the noise from here,” posted the boss of Dreamville on Twitter. “The off season means to keep pushing you, so will I.”
