Apart from real estate, Kendrick has not given up on a new project in more than three years. Rumors of a new album have been swirling on social media for months. Back in April, reports have surfaced that Dr. Dre, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar may be working together on new music.

The rumor started when Dr Dre’s frequent collaborator Fredwreck posted a photo on Twitter with Dre, Em and K-Dot. “Beats n Rhymes 🎙 #shady #aftermath,” Fredwreck captioned the photo.

It was enough to put the fans into a frenzy. On Saturday, May 1, the photo began appearing on Twitter, with fans speculating the rap trifecta was working on new music. “So we get a Dr. Dre album with eventual Kendrick Lamar and Eminem on the same track ???? Say no,” one person surmised on Twitter.
