The album the streets were waiting for has finally arrived.

Friday June 4, after months and months of teasing, little baby and Lil durk abandoned their long-awaited joint effort, The voice of heroes. Durk sees himself as “the voice” of the streets and Baby is “the hero”. This is the origin of the album title, which includes 18 songs and appearances by Young Thug, Meek Mill, Travis Scott and Rod Wave.

Before the LP hit digital streaming platforms today, Baby and Durkio released their first single from the project, “Voice of the Heroes”, on Memorial Day (May 31). On the loaded joint of AutoTune, the rappers recount their trials and tribulations before accumulating their undeniable success.

Last month, Lil Baby posted the album’s release date, but then deleted the social media post. At the time, it seemed like a premature announcement. However, soon after, Baby reposted the same image. Durk followed suit.

Back in March, the Music Quality Control the artist informed fans that the collaborative offer was in the works.

During an interview with MTV, Baby shared, “Me and [Lil] Durk was locked up every night. Damn, this is the new one. We arrive. Me and [Lil] Durk is releasing an album, fa sho. “

He added: “When it comes to this street shit the streets are like, we the voices and the heroes of this shit. You know what I’m saying? Kids look at us like heroes. I know that. they look at me like one and [Lil] Durk too. That nigga held it down for a minute. “
