Migos Release Culture III Album – Listen

MusicGateway

the Migos teased their third installment of the Culture album series for years, and the Atlanta trio finally arrive with the eagerly awaited new album,Culture III.

Friday (June 11), Quavo, Lift-off and Offset released 2018 follow-up Culture II, a new 19-song effort that features helpers from big names like Drake, Future, Cardi B, Juice Wrld, Pop Smoke and more. On the production side, the beatmakers of Quality Control rapper Zaytoven, Tay Keith, Wheezy, Murda Beatz, DJ Durel and others. The new album features the previously released singles “Straightenin” and “I Need It” with YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and of course a lot of jargon, adlibs and thoughts on the pitfalls we’ve become accustomed to from the stars of the southern rap.

Fans of the rap group have been patiently awaiting the album for an unusually long time. Only a year passed between the release of Culture and Culture II, which features the hit singles “MotorSport”, “Stir Fry”, “Walk It Talk It” and “Narcos”. C3 has been first announced down in early 2019. When the start of 2019 came without the album, Offset later told fans 2020 was the target timeline.

The album seemed to be the victim of delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, like many others. At one point, the band revealed the album would not be called Culture III, but they have since changed their minds. Last January, Offset noted C3 would be the “last chapter”.
