NLE Choppa claims he’s going to become an herbalist

NLE Choppa had a pretty good year 2020 with both “Shotta Flow (Remix)” and “Shotta Flow 2” go platinum during the pandemic. The Memphis rapper recently achieved platinum status with his single “Camelot”. But now it looks like he wants to change careers.

Tuesday July 6, 2020 XXL First-year student jumped on his Twitter account to announce that he is working on a new profession. “Finna bought out my contract and became a full-time herbalist,” he tweeted. “Forget about the music stuff about to help my people !!”

According to WebMD, an herbalist is a person who uses plants for self-healing. They are not doctors, but they offer all-natural alternatives like herbs or teas to treat ailments in the body. Training is involved and organizations like the American Herbalist Guild (AHG) offer memberships and certifications.

It’s unclear when NLE Choppa will give up music and start fully practicing being a herbalist.

Despite her success in 2020, Choppa went through a rough patch earlier this year. In March, the 18-year-old artist was stopped on charges of burglary in an unarmed unoccupied facility, carrying a concealed firearm, possession of cannabis 20 grams less / Synth Cann 3 GM less and possession of Alprazolam (Xanax).

According to an affidavit of arrest obtained by XXL at the time, Choppa confessed to police that he jumped over a door in the yard of a towing company in Davie, Fla., to retrieve a watch from a towed car as a result of an unrelated incident. However, the vehicle he was looking for was not on that particular towing ground. The towing lot manager signed an affidavit in favor of prosecution. Two other men, identified as Zyrion Matlock and Thony Coleman, who were with NLE Choppa were also arrested.

When Choppa and Matlock returned to the tow yard in a 2019 Ford Expedition, police arrived at the scene and conducted a criminal traffic stop. It was then that the cops discovered guns in the vehicle and a backpack containing seven grams of marijuana and three and a half pills of Xanax, which Choppa admitted to belong to him.

Choppa and the three men were then arrested and charged. The rapper “Final Warning” was able to escape a few hours later.

NLE ChoppaThe career change proposed by s might be a good idea after all.
