Ralo has been in prison since 2018 when he was arrested in connection with his drug trafficking case in Atlanta. However, the Georgia rapper claims he could have been freed had he chosen to become a rapper-informant, as 6ix9ine, but that’s not the path he’s taking.
On Monday, June 28, Ralo posted an Instagram post where he explains why he is not yet a free man. “THIS IS MY 4TH SUMMER BEHIND THE WALL. MY DAUGHTER, DAUGHTER AND MOM CRIED EVERY DAY FOR ME COMING HOME AND I LOOK AT THEM IN THEIR FACE AND THEIR SAY ‘I PREFER TO LIE IN THIS BED THAN FROM SITTING ON THIS BRACKET TO COME HOME ‘PLEASE KNOW I COULD BE AT HOME LIKE 69 WITH MY MILLIONS AND THESE PRETTY HOUES WOULD STILL BE SUCCESSFUL OF MY COCK EVERY DAY HONOR. AND DON’T FORGET WE CUZ US IN THIS GRAY BITCH EVERY DAY NOT TO GO AGAINST, “he wrote.
Alongside the caption, Ralo included a clip from the video for his 2018 track “Ahk Shit Pop Shit” from his Street Journal 3 project.
6ix9ine caught wind of Ralo’s post and responded on IG. The Brooklyn rapper said, “I don’t even know who it is … but kinda how if I say ‘I’m the problem’ .. ‘I’m too disrespectful’ .. everyone always mentions me in first and when I start and don’t stop ’69, ALWAYS GO AWAY. ‘”

His early release was due to the coronavirus pandemic, but his shortened sentence is also the result of his cooperation with the federal government in his federal gun and racketeering case. 6ix9ine testified against several members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang.
