Rappers and NFT – Hip-hop cashes non-fungible tokens


Despite the tendency to spread in hip-hop and sumptuous lifestyles of rappers that are posted via social media, hip-hop isn’t necessarily the big business it seems to be with go around the table in a global pandemic. According to Billboard, NFTs are a digital collector’s item that serves as proof of authenticity. This means pretty much anything you are looking to sell can be authenticated in a collector’s item and purchased through a blockchain.   • Soulja boy

    Soulja Boy took to his Twitter account for help earlier this month on March 7 when he asked, “How do I sell my tweets.” The rapper apparently sold this exact tweet on the digital marketing site Valuables per hundred for 0.07475 Ethereum or $ 1288.00. He then sold four more tweets for $ 796.71, earning $ 2,084.71 in three hours by auctioning his thoughts on social media.

  • Azealia Banks

    Azealia Banks is also taking advantage of the NFT wave.
