Shordie Shordie and Murda Beatz, Currensy and More – New projects


The countdown is over and Friday is finally here. And of course, that means several things, but in the hip-hop community, it means new music.

After a slight delay, high in Baltimore Shordie shordie and brain producer Murda Beatz abandon their collective effort, The way of memory. The 12-track project features a high-octane production by Murda and some of Shordie’s quick rhymes. Less than three weeks before The way of memory arrived, the duo dropped their joint record with Trippie Redd, “Love”, which is also the only feature of the project. Overall there’s a bit of a rasp, mixed in with melodic vibes and R & B-esque feel too.

New Orleans veteran rapper Curren $ y also offers new music. After a few outings in 2020, Spitta retires Recovering agency. Consisting of 10 songs, the effort contains a feature film by Larry June and production by frequent collaborators Harry Fraud as well as DJ Fresh and more. The NOLA spitter – pun intended – stays true to its sweet bars, accompanied by a gray but bewitching production. There are also moments of tempo. Recovering agency comes after some of Curren $ ythe 2020 offers of The Tonight Show with Curren $ y with DJ Fresh, The OutRunners with Harry Fraud and The director’s cut with Harry Fraud.

Rising artist from Memphis Duke Deucealbum of Duke Nukem also happens today. Before the LP arrives on the streaming platform, the Music quality control the rapper released his single “Spin” with Foogiano from 1017 Records. Before delivering his latest track, Duke released the militant-minded track “Soldiers Steppin” with a cinematic video showcasing Duke’s nimble movements and comedic timing. Duke Nukem, released via Quality Control Music / Motown Records / Made Men Movement, is packed with Duke Deucethe new-age crunk sound, aggressive rhymes and catchy ad-libs.
