Trae has teamed up with Howdy Homemade Ice Cream to bring an ice cream franchise to Katy, Texas on July 22, which has been designated “Trae Day” by the City of Houston.
On Thursday, Trae took to her Instagram page to make the big announcement for her new ice cream shop. “God is the key !!!” he wrote in the caption with a photo of Howdy Homemade ice cream shop. “I’m proud to announce that my brother and I (Rod) @vortex_surgical have just been franchised to open our own ice cream shop !! Hello, Katy’s homemade ice cream will open TraeDay on July 22.”
“It’s special because we will be employing young adults with special needs and giving them an opportunity to work and experiment and have a chance to be supported!” He continued. “We hope to change the way the world looks at everyone else. This cause really touches Trae Tha Truth. Her 16-year-old son, D’Nico, is a child with special needs. Last January, the Houston rapper in partnership with Cubby Love Bears, a company that makes teddy bears, to create stuffed animals that will help non-verbal children communicate better with caregivers.
