Looks like a number of prominent rappers and celebrities attended the all-white party in the Hamptons, NY on the weekend of July 4th, just like Meek Mill and Travis Scott, and things would have become tense between the two artists.
According to a report by Sixth page On Wednesday, July 7, Meek and La Flame had a verbal argument at the event hosted by Philadelphia 76ers co-owner and close friend of Meek, Michael Rubin. The old one XXL First year students were supposedly estranged from each other before the situation escalated and became physical.
The outlet further claims that Meek Milly was particularly angry and could be heard yelling at the Houston native, even after Travis walked away from the stage.
It is not known on what day the event took place, but it appears to have happened on July 4 or 5, according to numerous social media posts. And while the origin of the feud is not confirmed at this time, there is reportedly video footage of the verbal exchange. This footage does not appear to have made its way onto the Internet at the time of the report.
The incident allegedly happened around 1 a.m. and ended the party.
Meek and the founder of Cactus Jack Records have never had an argument in the past. However, the Philly rhymer has been at odds with a few of his peers in the past, including 6ix9ine and Drake. Sweet and Drizzy Drake, however, repaired the fences later after exchanging disturbing diss tapes.
XXL contacted representatives to Meek Mill and Travis Scott for a comment on this.
