Video shows Jack Harlow at a nightclub moments before filming


Jack harlow was in attendance during a fatal shooting at a nightclub in his hometown of Louisville, Ky., this weekend.

The incident happened early Saturday morning (May 1) at the Vibes restaurant and Ultra Lounge, which was having a “2021 Derby Weekend Kickoff” party to celebrate the famous Kentucky Derby which took place later that day. TMZ obtained footage of the chaotic incident. In the clip, the “What is Poppin” the rapper can be seen hanging out near the stage. Shortly after, a disturbance begins in the crowd, which seems to lead to a fight not too far from where the Generation Now MC is being held. Seconds later gunshots can then be heard and Jack is seen for a split second fleeing the chaos with many other participants.

According to local Louisville media, The Courier-Journal, a woman was fatally injured in the shooting and died at the scene. A man was also beaten and taken to the University of Louisville hospital with non-fatal injuries. Neither victim has been identified.

“Authorities say the club was well attended at the time of the incident, but there were no other injuries,” Louisville Metro Police Department spokeswoman Alicia Smiley said. the newspaper. “The homicide unit is investigating and believes both shootings took place inside the location. There are no suspects or arrests to date.”

It seems Jack was not injured during the event. However, it was scheduled to occur during the “Riders up” call at the Kentucky Derby on Saturday night, but got out less than an hour before the race. XXL reached out to the 23-year-old rapper’s team for comment.
