Toronto police confirmed with XXL several details regarding the incident that occurred outside Drake’s house earlier today.
A call arrived at the police at 4:52 p.m., which they responded to in the Bayview Avenue and Lawrence Avenue East area of Toronto. Officers currently have an adult female in custody. No injuries were reported and no entry was obtained on the property. Police have since cleared the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
Today (March 30), a woman allegedly attacked one of the Duckprivate security guards with a metal pipe after trying to prevent him from accessing the $ 150 million property in Toronto’s Bridle Path neighborhood. She was arrested near the door before the attack. Along with a metal pipe, a knife was also reportedly located. At 5:30 p.m., Toronto Police responded to the scene with seven police cars and one Toronto EMS vehicle.
Toronto sun Columnist Joe Warmington reported details of the incident as they unfolded, starting at 5:46 p.m. “BREAKING- Large presence @TPSOperations at home on Bridle Path. Sources say outside home superstar Drake. Hope all is well. But sources say it seems like a busy scene. A paramedic is spotted there as well. #Drake maybe @Drake can clarify what’s going on? “he tweeted.
He reported that one person had been arrested by Toronto police. “BREAKING – Toronto Police have one person in custody who allegedly arrived at the @Drake On Bridle Path Army mansion. In development,” he wrote on Twitter.
Duck was not injured in the incident. “BREAKING – I am told that @Drake was not injured in an armed attack on his property in Bridlepath, but a member of his entourage may have been hit with a pipe,” Warmington continued.
The person arrested was a woman who was allegedly armed with a knife. “BREAKING – Sources tell me a woman has been arrested on the @Drake mansion property and a knife has been located,” the reporter tweeted.
“I hear a security guard for @Drake prevented the armed suspect from entering the property,” Warmington added. “She was arrested near the door but a security guard was reportedly hit with a pipe”
Sources say a metal pipe and knife are among the evidence at the @Drake house. A security guard was reportedly physically attacked, but the woman did not enter the mansion or even in the property. Seven cars @TPSOperations responded and a paramedic, “he revealed.
Duck has yet to comment on the situation via its social media platforms. He first bought his Toronto mansion in 2018, for $ 6.7 million. The 34-year-old rapper gave fans a glimpse of his expensive pillow last year when he filmed his “Toosie Slide” video throughout the house, showing everything from Andy Warhol’s Mao 94 painting to the Bösendorfer piano engraved with Takashi Murakami’s skulls.
