Young Thug names his five best living rappers


Every rapper has a list of the best rhymes that influenced them and Young thug shared his five favorite rappers.

In a recent appearance on Gille Da Kid and Wallo’s A million dollars in play podcast, which premiered on Sunday May 16, Thugger ran her roster and included her label Young Stoner Life Records. Its artists were also in the studio during the podcast.

“I don’t use us as a group,” says Thug. “We really have one. So I have to say a YSL, Lil Baby, [Lil] Uzi [Vert], Drizzy … “

Seeming to be slightly perplexed as to who Thug wanted to name his fifth favorite rapper alive, he names Future and 21 Savage.

He went on to say that his list is exhaustive and is not based solely on lyricism. If so, Thugger said his favorites would have included Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole or Dreamville Record’s Bas.

Thug continues, “It’s about everything. Everyone I’ve named has everything.”

As Young thug tries to restrict the last rapper to finish his Top five list, Gillie encourages Thug to think seriously about who to name. To this, Thugger replies: “I think too much.”

Thug finally said, “Kanye. The fifth must be Kanye.”

Young Thug actually collaborated with all the rappers on his list of the five best rimers, with the exception of “Ye.

To name a few, Thugger and Uzi dropped the Atlanta rapper’s ‘Up’ in 2018 Hear no harm EP and “D4L” with Drake and Future is on Drizzy’s 2020 Dark Lane Demo Cassettes surprise mixtape. Thug also worked with 6 God recently on “Solid” from this year’s YSL compilation album, Thin language 2. Lil Baby also has several tracks with Thug, including “Chanel” with Gunna on the initial. Tongue Slime, arrived in 2018.

And while Thug doesn’t have a song with Kanye, there is a song named after the rhymer raised in Chicago with Wyclef Jean on Thugger’s 2016. Jeffery mixtape.

On another note, in 2016 a leaked version so Yeezy “Famous” from Pablo’s life appeared online, containing a verse from Young Thug. The final version of the track features vocals from Rihanna and Swizz Beatz.

Last month, Thug and his YSL crew dropped out Slime Language 2.
