Yung Joc found himself in another hairy situation.
On Monday, March 30, an Atlanta barber by the name of Scooby Cutz shared photos and video of a fake beard setup he performed on Yung Joc. In the video and stills, Scooby showed how he took the “He’s going down” rhyme from a rapper with a baby face to a bearded Adonis.
“My boy @joclive said he doesn’t wait for the beard to grow… The beard is ganging me NOW😂,” Scooby wrote.
Joc then shared his own videos of his makeshift facial hair on his Instagram page while on the air during his hosting duties on Streetz 94.5’s. Morning takeover. He even used clippers to shape the hair.
He captioned one of the videos “Beard gang b! T € h.”
Twitter and Instagram users haven’t had the most positive reaction to Joc’s shocking transformation. Instead of embracing his beard gang initiation, social media mocked the 37-year-old rapper. “Yung Joc has a family, he’s irrelevant for this beard wig,” one Twitter user wrote.
This isn’t the first time Joc has come under fire for his hair choices. In 2016, Joc caught the heat for swing a perm sure Love and hip-hop: Atlanta. In recent years, people have come to the native of Georgia for wear dresses. He also received negative reactions when he was spotted driving an ATL rideshare app last year.
